Comfort Inn Mount Airy

The king room I got was complete with a comfortable chair, the ac unit plus great space.

The room I stayed in was a nice size and well-appointed with a comfortable chair and great space, for example. A shower and a hairdryer was a plus. The very very helpful and really helpful staff made a good impression.

The bed was hard as rock, that's sad thing.

The staff were all attentive and amicable.

This was a great stop to break up our 12 hr trip back home. Breakfast is toast, sweet roll, waffles, cereal & milk, coffee and juice. Good for a quick bite if you plan to get on the road early. Pool is nothing special, but a quick dip if you are needing a cooldown. Good value for the price. Very nice town with food very close by and if you enjoyed Andy Griffith and Mayberry this is the stop for you. Very nice old fashioned street. Everyone is so nice.

Comfy location for my purposes. The hotel is in the safe zone. The breakfasts are good hot with lots of options;)))

perfect location close to everything.

The indoor heated pool was a perfect way to unwind after a day out. The location was fantastic, right across from a delicious mexican restaurant. Breakfast was a hit with my wife, and the staff was super friendly. The hotel was clean, and everything worked perfectly including the ac. We loved visiting mayberry days and pilot mountain state park.

The hotel was quiet and easy to find. It was clean and everything was in good working order. I would definitely stay @ Royal Suites again in the future.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, and a refreshing pool made our stay enjoyable, and the clean, cool room allowed us to relax after our camping trip.

We really liked the location of the hotel.

The hotel though it was nice it was very out dated. The rooms were clean however, there was mold growing in the bathroom on the ceiling above the shower. The bed was large but hard as a rock. A breakfast is offered but it is not to be desired at all. If they would invest a little bit then this hotel could really be a success.

This hotel was a great value and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We found this hotel to be one we would stay at again without hesitation. The rooms were set up in a unique way with a divider between the two queen beds. This is great for a family! A+++++++++++ stay!! Thank you to the staff for going the extra mile for us. Colleen G.

The breakfast has limited items, but given the great value in other ways, this is something that can be overlooked.

Clean, Comfortable, Caring

I loved the clean vibes here! The heated pool was like a warm hug after a long day-super inviting! And the staff were really good, like when they helped me settle into my King Room Accessible with a smile.

Met our needs at a reasonable price.

This particular hotel has recently changed management or name. It was a Microtel when we last stayed there. It does need a facelift and we were told at the front desk that a remodel was in the works. The breakfast menu was limited as well as seating.

Price was ok.

Lack of in room information on hotel and local events, as well as room has limited clothing storage. In room coffee pot would not work without holding the top down.
